Accounts Payable Assistant

Our client, a leading independent Oil & Gas operator, based in Norwich, is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their busy team for an initial 6 month contract.


Main Duties:

• Processing a high volume of staff expenses
• Investigate and resolve invoice queries
• Set up of regular payment runs and direct debits where necessary and issue remittances
• Code and post supplier invoices
• Reconcile, code, post and ensure timely payment of company credit card statements
• Other duties as required

The successful candidate will have strong understanding of Microsoft Office packages such as Excel and Word. You will be confident and hardworking with ideally some Accounts Payable experience.

You will be ambitious with a keen attention to detail and possess the ability to work with minimum supervision.

Upstream Oil and Gas experience would be an advantage.
The role is initially a 6 month contract with the potential for something longer term moving forward.
