Due to the expansion of this division, one of our leading clients is looking to recruit a Commercial Assistant to support the Operations Manager and the Procurement and Logistics operation.
Our Client whose Head Office is based in Norwich offers a full range of Procurement Services within the Oil & Gas Industry mainly in the upstream sector (drilling operations) in the Middle East and North Africa. The company also offers engineering services onshore and offshore for a number of major organisations.
If you are Commercially aware and have worked as an administrator, enjoy a challenge and working in a fast paced environment – this could be the role for you.
The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, be well organised with great attention to detail and will be advanced in Microsoft Excel. Working with figures is a key part of the role therefore accuracy and efficiency in this area is paramount.
This job is very varied which makes it such an interesting role. You will be supporting a very busy Operations Manager, and assisting her in maintaining the current customer data base and developing relationships with new customers also.
Although experience in the Oil and Gas sector or Engineering would be an advantage, it is not essential, as training will be given.
