Purchase Ledger Assistant

Our prestigious client located near Dereham is looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Assistant / Receptionist to join their busy team.

You will be predominantly working within the finance department; however, a percentage of the role will be to cover reception as required.

The successful candidate will process purchase invoices, circa 100/week, check authorisations and match purchase orders to invoices.

Job duties:

• Prepare weekly payment runs
• Checking sales orders
• Greeting visitors / providing refreshments as required.
• Taking orders
• Answering the telephone
• Franking post / Business post

In this busy role you will need to demonstrate first class Customer Service and Communication skills and have a good understanding of Excel, as the role requires you to monitor and track Raw Materials purchased using an Excel spreadsheet.
