Sales Ledger

Our client, based in Dereham, is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their busy Sales Ledger team. This is a full time, permanent position.

 

Duties to include:-

• Supporting the Sales Ledger team
• Assist with processing Invoices in compliance with agreed terms and conditions
• Responsibility for ensuring correct coding of service invoices
• Completing supplier statement reconciliations
• Dealing with supplier queries either by phone or written correspondence
• Scanning post
• Monitor the team inbox
• Credit checks

 

As the Accounts Assistant you will be working in a fast-paced environment, so it is essential that you are highly motivated, driven and a team worker, to be able to work to deliver results daily.


You should also have experience in working as part of a sales ledger team.


The desired candidate will be computer literate and have a good understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel. You will have a detailed knowledge of accounts payable function, and have the ability to build working relationships and will work well under pressure in a busy environment.


The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to prioritise with extreme attention to detail and accuracy. You will think pro-actively and use initiative to multi task and work under pressure.
